Emma in October!

Emma is one day shy of 8 months so I figured I better post some 7 month pictures of her! This past month she has really changed, becoming more and more like a little person. She is now about 19 1/2 lbs and eating 3 meals a day! Some of her favorite foods include: butternut squash, carrots, pears, bananas, and, of course her PUFFS!!!! Her little pincer grasp is getting better each day and the puffs are getting easier and easier for her! She continues to love attention and the term object permanence is definitely one in her vocabulary! Yes, for about a month now she has been noticing when we leave the room and is not thrilled when we she realizes she is alone! She is in her glory with us right beside her, laughing, playing, and showing off. She loves her music and gets very excited when we sing to her. When she wakes up she is so happy and she melts our hearts every time we walk in to get her! She also has a new very cheesy grin which she gives freely! She is doing well with tummy time continuing to move backwards like a crawfish and doing 360 degree turns. We are working on forward progress and it seems to be in her near future as she is getting up on all 4's, rocking back and forth, then plummeting forward. I guess baby proofing our house should be on my to do list! She is loving her jumperoo and excersaucer now more than ever! She is still babbling a lot saying mamamama, dadadadada, nananana, aaaahhhhhh, and blowing many rasberries(a nice term for spit bubbles)! She still finds a way to put everything in her view in her mouth including her shoes, feet, and our chins!!! She loves our glasses and now my earrings (guess studs are all I will be wearing for a while!)

We are so blessed to have her and can't believe she will be 8 months old tomorrow!
