Wondering if mommy and daddy are really going to let me eat this!!!!
We celebrated Emma's first birthday last week in Lake Charles! We had such a wonderful trip home and Emma soaked up all the attention! Our child is quite the social butterfly and loves to be around her grandparents and family! We traveled to New Orleans during the week where Emma celebrated her first birthday in style at many great restaurants! Her favorite menu item by far was grilled cheese (she's such a fancy eater!!!)
Here are Emma's 1 year stats: wt-21 lbs 5 oz, ht- 30.5 in, hc 17.5! Emma has been quite an easy baby! She is getting more and more curious and enjoying her mobility (crawling). I think we have a while before she walks! Emma is now sleeping from about 7 pm to 7 am!!!! YAY! She is eating well but on a sippy cup strike! She is a little upset that I am trying to wean her from nursing! She will appreciate my efforts one day!
In other news, we are expecting Baby Foret #2 in September! We are very excited and 14 weeks later still surprised! Emma is going to be such a great big sis!!!

Her cake was so cute. My favorite pic is of her looking at the beignets. How cute! And I can't wait to meet baby #2 in September.
