Just like Mommy! I like my phone close to me!Emma is now 15 months old and growing like a weed! Here are her 15 month stats:
Weight: 23 lbs 5 oz (60)
Length 32 in (91%)
HC: 17.75 (30th %)
Her 15 month check up went well, even her shots. She only cried for a minute then kept trying to pull the band aid off to play with. She seems to pick up a new word each day and understands so much more than we realize. It has been so neat to watch her evolve into this little precious person! She is a very cautious child and is just starting to open cabinets and explore. She is a master crawler/cruiser and has taken a few steps but would rather travel by the quickest, most secure route (crawling). She continues to love her babies, her swing (which Gumpy and Daddy built for her a couple of weeks ago), outside, anything to do with water, dancing (a very similar resemblance to the head bobbing dancing scene in A Night at the Roxbury), BOOKS (she would read all day), phones (she will pick up a phone and just start babbling; she has a lot to say) and her new kitchen.
She continues to be very social and (knock on wood) has not experienced any stranger anxiety up until this point. She will go with anyone! (kinda scary) She is also becoming very particular about certain things which is so precious to watch. One example is that she has to have her sippy cup in the cup holder of her tray when it is not being used or it totally stresses her out!
She is sleeping well (7:30pm-6:30am) and taking 2 naps a day. Occasionally, during the first nap, she will talk in her crib about an hour and on those days we take her out, play, have lunch, and we only take one nap. So, I guess we are kinda starting to slowly transition to 1 nap!
Our lives are so complete with her and she does get easier and easier each day! We are so in love!
We do have one more love to speak of! I am now 29 weeks pregnant and Baby Girl #2 is due September 14! All of our appointments have gone really well and we are really excited God has blessed us once again! We are thrilled for Emma to have a little sister! Baby Sister now weighs 2 lbs 10 oz and is also growing like a weed! Just take a look at me and you can see this for yourself!

I love Emma's new swing set. We will definitely need to come over and play! And it amazes me that she is just now getting into the cabinets! But I love the picture of her digging through your dishes!
My favorite is the picture with the big bone :) Our kids are going to grow up thinking everyone has fake bones in their house! I can see it now- "What? You don't have a pelvis and spine in your kitchen???"
When Jonathan starts his practice, you need to blow up the picture with Emma and that bone for his office! :) Great pics, Shane. She's so so precious.
