Raley Update ~ 16 months

Raley is now 16months! We took her for her check up ( 1 month late:) and she is doing very well! Jonathan was able to come with us so that was a special treat! I think her shots hurt him more than her, though.

Here are her stats:

Height: 33 in (97%)

Weight: 24 lbs 4 oz (82%)

HC: 18 1/2 (80 %)

Raley at 16 months:

Climbs on everything (walked out the room for 1 minute, come back and she was on the table, naked, grabbing fruit from the fruit bowl)

Wants to do everything Emma does (puts herself in timeout, refusing high chair and ONLY wants to sit like Emma in the big chair, sit on potty)

Adores BIG SIS (not only wants to do everything she's doing, but loves to give her hugs and kisses)

Runs, climbs stairs well

Attached (cries when I leave, loves to be with Mommy and Daddy)

Strong willed (starting to throw tantrums- I think it's pretty hilarious so I have to run out the room so she doesn't see me laugh)

Loves to be held

Loves to give wet kisses (she's working on mastering this skill)

Loves the outdoors (sliding, swinging, etc.)

Feeds self (getting pretty good with spoon and forks, but still very messy)

Understands commands

Knows animal sounds

Points to pictures if prompted

Knows eyes, ears, mouth, teeth, nose, hair

When out to eat, if waitress walks up she will put her hand over her plate and say MINE!

Has 6 teeth (top two, bottom two, 2 molars which just cut-miserable)

Loves to eat, but lately her teeth have been bothering her

Favorite foods- Mac N Cheese, Cheese, Oatmeal, All Fruit, Cinnamon Toast

Least favorite food- Peas, Veges

Sleeps from about 7:30/8:00 to 7:00

1 Nap from about 1 to 3 and it varies from 1 1/2 to 3 hours (dropped morning nap when we were in LC for Christmas ~ 15 1/2 months)

Raley keeps us entertained and busy!!! She is so sweet and has quite the personality. We are so blessed that the Lord picked us to be her parents! We fall more and more in love each day! Each night, Jonathan and I look at the girls in complete amazement and ask, "Did you ever think you could love something so much?" Wow, God is so good!
