Emma had her 2 month well check today. She got her shots and, all things considered, I think she handled it fairly well. It was sad to see her in so much pain. It's weird being on the other side of things. (for those of you who don't know, I work at the Pediatricians Office that Emma goes to and I am usually that mean nurse with the needle> but today it was my friend Jan and she did a great job!) All went well with her appointment! As I mentioned in the previous post, she is starting to make more noises (cooing, gurgling, and an occasional yell!). She is more interactive and becoming more and more social. She smiles the most immediately after a nap (most likely because she knows what comes next>FOOD!) WOW she is my child! She is also always very social after a feeding!! She continues to eat every 2-3 hours during the day and last night went 8 hours between feeds sleeping from 9:45pm - 5:45am. I could definitely get used to this> but I won't because if there is anything I've learned from this little one is that the minute you get used to something IT CHANGES! As far as her awake time goes, she is really enjoying her play gym and bouncy seat, is starting to bat at objects, can focus on objects and faces for a few minutes, and still is not crazy about tummy time, but we do ATTEMPT this daily! She loves to be held over the shoulder and is starting to let us know more and more what her likes and dislikes are >she does this with that occasional yell that I mentioned earlier!) We are still trying to get a good pic with her precious smile. Our camera is too slow to catch it! Until then, enjoy these photos of little love!
We are falling more and more in love with her everyday and we are so happy to share all of her progress with all of you!!!
Here are her 2 month stats:
Length: 24 1/2 inches (98%)
Weight: 12 lbs (80%)
Head Circ: 15 1/4 (50)

Congratulations she is beautiful! By the way, my mom is so happy for you too! She wants me to tell you Hello!
I think Emma is a good mixture of both of y'all. She is getting sooooooo big. I can't wait to meet her and hold her.
