October 2010

We visited Nivens Apple Farm the first weekend of October! The weather was beautiful and we had such a great time! Emma really enjoyed the hayride and the pumpkins!

My Aunt Paula and her best friend, Darline, came to visit us in early October! They were such a huge help!

My Dad and Karen also came to visit in early October! We had such a wonderful time! They were such a huge help with Emma. Dad is a great cook so he cooked for us every night while Karen cleaned! Life was easy for mommy! Below are pictures of PawPaw and Emma at the zoo and of Mimi and Emma at home!

We love to watch football at our house and below is a picture of the girls all dressed up and ready for the LSU game to start! Emma really has started to embrace LSU football games! She loves to sing the fight song and yell "GO" when Jonathan and I get excited! If asked what we watch on Saturday she says, "BEEBALL."

The last weekend in October we took Raley on her first road trip! We went to Highlands, NC with Jonathan's parents. We stayed at the Old Edwards Inn and it was so beautiful and relaxing. Jonathan and I even were able to sneak away for a massage! This was much needed after 6 weeks of sleep deprivation!

For Halloween, we went to a neighborhood gathering then did a little trick or treating!

Emma was a bumblebee and Raley was a pumpkin!

Emma had a blast. She had her first bites of a candy bar and absolutely loved it! She was more focused on that 3 musketeer than anything or anyone at the party!
